On Wednesday, after classes, we took an excursion to Chenonceau. It was my second time to see the chateau. This time was a little disappointing because there was so much construction that we did not get to see everything; however, the gardens there were as beautiful as ever!
Afterwards we went to a wine cave in a small town named Vouvray. At the cave we learned how they store and rotate their wines in order to refine the flavor. Then, we were able to have a wine tasting! Somehow I ended up buying 6 bottles! It was delicious!
(Le mercredi, après les cours, nous avons pris une excursion à Chenonceau. C'était ma deuxième fois pour voir le château. Cette fois-ci était un peu décevant parce qu'il y avait de la construction tant que nous n'avons pas pu tout voir ; mais les jardins, il y avait plus belle que jamais!
Ensuite nous sommes allés à une cave à vin dans une petite ville nommée Vouvray. A la grotte, nous avons appris comment ils stockent et la rotation de leurs vins afin d'affiner le goût. Ensuite, nous avons pu avoir une dégustation de vins! D'une certaine façon j'ai fini par acheter 6 bouteilles! C'était délicieux!)
